Meadow bokeh and dipper

Meadow!
Yesterday I gave the BOKEH a shot. Worked rather well but I need at least one larger circle. This is the foam brushes I used. I did enhance the colors in photoshop. A5 watercolor paper.

This is the scallop I had earlier. Tried the bubbles and foam but only got a couple of tiny bubbles. I think it has to be done on paper or canvas to work.

PPF AEDM22 From this week

The wave
This one is not yet finished, as I started it at midnight, but I wanted to photograph it before I might spoil it.
The idea is to ad foam bubbles on it. I have seen how to do it with color and dish soap.
So, wish me luck on that.

And a combination of orchids and ballerina

The orchids and ballerina somehow belongs together. So, I cut out the dancer using a scalpel from a copy on paper. Had some fun with the orchids and combined it all in photoshop.
And, right now I realized I can actually cut out stencils from OverHead sheets that I have a load of since I was working.

Outside is a grey day so I need some color. 😀

I hope everyone is fine. My day is dull with heavy fog outside. I woke up early and it was still dark, Looking out my window it was foggy with streetlight shining through the treetops. Took some shots I might share later on if they are good enough. They might be all blurry.

Mixed media I guess

The Egg Nebula
This is digital! I took a shot of an empty egg I had for breakfast. Lit with UV-light it looked like a nebula so it became one :)

The Glob
Canvas 20x20cm and Tempera silvery colors. Colors changes from dull to very glossy, depending on the direction you look at it. And the light of course.

Lichen Fantasy!
I found the lichen in the forest and liked it. I had this canvas made of leftover colors using a balloon and added the lichen to it. So, this is some kind of mixed media I guess.

And, a scallop with my image on it. :)
I will share it on the upcoming exhibition. Maybe somebody want to order one with their loved ones on it :) If so I have a few more to use up!

More scallops

When my grandson saw the scallop of him and his sister I gave my daughter, he wanted one as well.
After a discussion he said he also wanted one with the Mask images I took a few years back. It is him behind the mask :)

This week I have been sick, I got some kind of foodborne illness and almost could not eat for a week. But I manage to create the scallops my grandson wanted. He has seen The Mask, but not the other one.

It is hard to paint circles on the scallop so the green frame is very uneven. So, I have to ask him if he wants a broader frame? But I think that will be too much green. The frame on his mothers version is broader and golden. Was easier to create :) The oval on The Mask is created in Photoshop and is on the photo. That is why it looks nice

Just plying around with Cinderella, family and waterfall

This has been in my mind for a few months now. I bought the carriage two months ago and tried to figure out what and how to use them. I came up with this plan but did not know if it would work.
Well, I learned what happens with the color. Turned out I had tooo much black color on the canvas. I wanted it to look like the right side all the way down over the carriage. But I too much black color coming down. I have ordered 4 new carriages, I have shown this one for a few people and they seem to like it. :) My daughter want this one if I create another :)

These are now in my daughters possession. The horseshoes are from a trip to Iceland. So, from small horses. Photographed on her silvery placemat.

I was given a black tile from a friend. It was quite fun to through some color on it. Sadly it is not working as art. It is too heavy to hang on the wall and you canpt use it to place things on it.

Half way throgh the colored waterfall I had way to much white acrylic paint on the fanbrush so I started to paint the second waterfall. :) They did not take long to create and was fun :)

Abstract photo and family scallops

The Elephant
lol, I thought this became an elephant head, but somebody saw a Cobra :) Two completely different species seen in one image. The original image is actually the water created from a turning ferry.

My family!
I created these yesterday so they are not yet dry. The wedding is my daughter and her husband. The green scallop is me and I think I shall use it on my upcoming exhibition in September. The last one is my granddaughter and grandson. My favorite image of them. The size of the scallops are about 12x12cm

Wedding memory for Janet &Andy
This is not yet dry. I added some decorations for nails on it. Hearts and stars. Those tiny things I had to pick up with tooth pics to place them on the thick paint. At the bottom is a few decorative stones.

They have not seen it yet so I hope they will like it :)

Scallop and canvas

Dark fountain
This is a chainpull on white canvas 24x30cm. I had used too much black so I think it became too dark for my taste.
I´m thinking of creating another with more white in it, But I am out of canvases. And, so are the shops. There are three places selling canvases and all of them are waiting for their orders to arrive . Seems the ship is astray somewhere. This made me realize a problem. All of the stores are buying supplies from a single supplier in, probably, China. That way no supplies finds my country if that delivery is disturbed. :(

My daughter on a scallop
I printed her photo and fixative to stabilize the colors. Then added medium on the scallop and the image on that. carefully pressing the photo to avoid wrinkles. Then added the sand and stars and finally the blue.
