Sandy lava abstract
This is a canvas tempera painting in it´s third version. I never got pleased with it. This last time I sprinkled  black lava sand on it. And was finally done. Canvas 24x30cm

"Watercolor flower" and "Not allowed to shine"
Yesterday I worked on my first real attempt on watercolor painting. The flower was easy enough, just dotting color.
The second one "Not allowed to shine" has a story attached. In meditation I tried to clean my aura. It was hard, and I wanted to try to visualize it. When I see it now it looks like a dress, but is a cloak to hide my aura.

I hope everyone is fine. We had the first frost this week and it feels cold. Not used to cold anymore after two warm years.

Just plying around with Cinderella, family and waterfall

Cinderella, first try  canvas 40x50cm
This has been in my mind for a few months now. I bought the carriage two months ago and tried to figure out what and how to use them. I came up with this plan but did not know if it would work.
Well, I learned what happens with the color. Turned out I had tooo much black color on the canvas. I wanted it to look like the right side all the way down over the carriage. But I too much black color coming down. I have ordered 4 new carriages, I have shown this one for a few people and they seem to like it. :) My daughter want this one if I create another :)

These are now in my daughters possession. The horseshoes are from a trip to Iceland. So, from small horses. Photographed on her silvery placemat.

I was given a black tile from a friend. It was quite fun to through some color on it. Sadly it is not working as art. It is too heavy to hang on the wall and you canpt use it to place things on it.

Waterfall,  A4 paper for acrylic or watercolor work, first time I used it.

Waterfall, A4 carbon paper

Half way throgh the colored waterfall I had way to much white acrylic paint on the fanbrush so I started to paint the second waterfall. :) They did not take long to create and was fun :)

Testing fanbrush on canvas
© NF Photo 181205

I have a canvas that is damaged. Thought I use it for practising different brushes. The work above is only a part of that canvas.
This week I tested to use the fanbrush. Seem to me I have a lot of more practising to do. The major problem seem to be the thickness of the color and the preparation of the canvas. I can´t get it to "flow" the way I see them doing in videos. As a fantasy I kind of like it anyway.
