May the moon give us a Happy New Year

For TADs This is not a FULL cold moon. But I made a New Years Wish of it as it met with the fireworks.

Holding the moon carefully!

The full Red moon

Images below:
I continued working with Ania Witwitzka instructive class.
It is really fun. You mess around with colors and suddenly you have something you like.
Chaos!

Orange background and stencil lit by light and created shadows,

Blue background with a stencil deer on top.

That´s all for today. I hope everyone is fine.
Our situation in Sweden has worsened and we have raised restrictions.
But good news is the vaccinations have started. In Sweden and many other countries.
The New Year 2021 will see if it works.

Take care everyone!

Wishful thinking

For Rains TAD I created a Snowy landscape. This image is what I want and some I want to remember.
The snow is cotton. The house is created by my father and mother.

The White dove of peace keeps my family healthy and safe in difficult times.

A memory from Yellowstone, bison in snow

We had some frost today and I have been out sneaking on Fallow deer. I think those guys recognice me by now. They let me come rather close. Took a lot of shots but that will be for a later psot.

I hope everybody has a great and healthy Chistmas. Now I am off to my Christmas dinner. Boiled ham and meatballs.
Take care, greetings from Sweden.

Lipstick lady and abstract class

Lipstick Lady 1

Lipstick Lady 2

Well, this is for Rains "portrait" obviously. This IS ME! I painted with my lips and lipstick, So, it is a portrait of ME. The top one is the first I made. Worked quite well with the eyes. The second one was harder. When you try to create the same form/shape with the lips you fail. And trying to do it in a "correct" position was not easy either. But never mind. It was a fun thing to do.

Belowe:
I received a free class from artist Ania Witwitzka in Creative painting and this is my first work inspired from that.
First Layer on a photopaper 10x16cm

Christmas Star
Fifth layer and finished of with a glittery star glued on it.

This is a Christmas card I received a couple of days ago from my daughter and granddaughter.
My granddaughter bought it in Queensland before she was able to come back to Sweden.
I share it because I was so impressed with it as soon as I studied it closely. The card is 15x15 cm. And it is not painted, it is Paper Filigree art.  The height of the rolled paper is maybe 1 mm, I can´t even measure it. I made a closeup in the corner for you to see.
I have never seen anything like this before!

Yesterday we had a bit of sunshine! And it created headlines in the news. First hours of sunlight in December! Today it is back to grey again. With the clouds on the ground!
I wish for some SNOW.

Take care!

Canvas collection, Cubism and the C

This is my Workstation/study nowadays!

Rains theme Cubism!
Not my favorite really!  Looking through my art I found the "lady" below. Think it might classify as cubism.

Then I played around in PS.
Not my best work all time but at least it is colorful and quite fun. I pretend it is partly a Cubism. 😇
It is created with a backgrund bokeh photo. Added a few shapes and a little drawing on a small Wacom tablet I have.

I think I will call it "Whatever!"  Cubism? I guess it depends on what you think. 😎
Also photoshop, photos, shapes.

This was a tricky challenge. Demanding me to think opposite in some way. Hard as I am too much a photographer.

I am not sure if I have shared this one. I found it in my files and I really like the colors.

Swedish Corona update!
I heard, in a comment, that the US thinks Sweden is in Lockdown. We are not. There are laws in Sweden that makes it impossible to lockdown the country. But that might change. Laws are being prepared!
Our situation right now is this: Since a calm summer with only few Corona cases it is now increasing and due to a "second wave" we have raised restrictions. So far we are still lower then we were in May. There are three areas where the Covid spreads rapidly. It is Stockholm and Uppsala. And also in the south part of Sweden which was almost spared in the spring. I guess they thought they were safe, but you are never safe when it comes to corona.

But so far I am free to do whatever I want as long as I am careful. But as I am mostly in the forest that is no problem. I just miss going to the Library. They are closed.

I and my family are all safe.  I, my sister and brother will all stay at our respective homes during the upcoming holidays. My daughter and her family lives in the countryside and will also be at their home during the holiday. But we will connect in FB and on internet. That is a great thing!

Take care everyone, better safe then sorry!

SF and digi edits

I guess the name of this one is quite obvious, Star Trek, created for Rains theme The big screen.
I like SF, real SF that is, not the horror ones pretending to be SF. SF is about exploring, adventure, cooperation with other species and understanding different cultures and natures.

Flight!
Added just because I like the mood in it. Digital composition. FUJI, eagle, window frost.

Transition of a rose!

Just to share what I do! This is the rose I used for the transition to the image above.
No way I could have painted this!
