The bell

For Our Midweek muse Inspired by Japan

Ingemar, born 1925

He is my father, but he is no longer with us.

Before he passed away he gave me this bell. He said that when he was a toddler my grandmother, Ingrid, did hang it around his neck. They lived on a farm and that was her way to know where he was.

The sound of this bell is wonderful. Strong, yet brittle.

Hi Nicole! I think this one is just what youre stylle. It's a wooden sculpture I have.

With many weird faces on.

I bought it in Lithuania many years ago. It is actually a candle holder

I think I will have to take more shots of it. This was the only angle I had.

In the jungle on Hawaii and snowy art

In the Jungle!

Rain want to visit a Jungle today. So here it is.

Digital art. My family and I was in Hawaii as my granddaughter was studying there.

I did take a snowy walk to the Forest Exhibition where our pieces of art from the summer is placed.

This is my Wooden Trolley art covered with snow. It seems like it is not spoiled yet.

Three days ago we got A LOT of snow. But now it already melts away. It was beautiful for two days and now it is just dirty. 😭

Tilted pieces

The collage in the green area was created on a Collage event at the Library.

They had lots of gorgeous backgrounds one could use to cut and paste. Things I don´t have at home.

It was quite fun. Also the fact of having company during the process.

The rest was done at home and on the computer.

Good for using on the COLLAGE theme at AJJ this month.

Rain on TADs want´s Cup this week.

It was quite fun to distort them.

Nature fall items on a vintage paper

I thought the colors of fall fitted together.

Finish off with a piece of rusty metall!

This morning was the first day I noticed it was almost freezing temperature. So when I go out today it will be fresh and lovely to breath. And I would not mind the slippery mud to get frozen.

And, maybe a little snow?? To brighten up the dark days. Some snowflakes would keep me busy for a while.

AEDM o Journal

Home made cupcake

Ingredients: Metall form candy cup, cottonwool, tempera color

For the

Collage Fodder, Food and Drink, or Both

this month.

I did not think I would create anything on this challenge but I have not made any of this type of Journal before so I thought I´ll give it a try!

I used an A4 size of paper. Painted it and glued a part of a city map from my town on it.

I had some tiny stickers of bakery and glued them, but the fun part was the cupcake.

I have some small cups that I use for christmas candy and I put cottton in it and painted a

little on top of it.

Voila, a cupcake was born!

Then I was ready for some shots.

AEDM 1and 2 TAD TAG TIOT CAS Critter

Acorn artwork

This is my entry for Tag tuesday. Most of the acorns has natural patterns.

Six of them I painted on. One tree and the lower row are partly painted. The rest is nature.

And two more painted. The background "sky" are natural (pink and yellow)

For CAS Sympathy on stormy waters and wind. Sorry I did not get it on the image.

I just LOVE the Acorns. So many of them are tiny, natural artwork. I think some of the patterns are created by larva, but I´m not sure of what creates the pink colors. I think the yellow is the natural look.

The DEER is created on thick glitter paper as background.

The deer, the ice and star are stickers. More or less transparent.

And for the green one. I happened to turn on the light. And it created a Lighteffect.
