Art this week about cracks and atoll

 Time table cracks!
This is an old one I did. The cracks was on the plastic cover over the bus time table.

 Created some cracks on 2 smaller photopapers using thick watercolor paint. You can see the fine line in the center. One paper is "up" the other upsidedown. I wanted to see if it made any difference painting on them the different surfaces. Was not much really.   I added some reed here and there.

The atoll
on hard board 18x24 cm. The shells and other things are not yet glued on it.
Still have not decided if it is supposed to be glued on.

This is the board photographed in sunshine. That is why the color differs from the one above.
I think I will keep it this way as I can use it as a frame.
It is tempera colors and thick pasta for the "atoll". And sand from a beach in the center. The sand is glued on.

I hope everybody is still fine where ever you live. Sun is shining and we gets nearer to summer. I´m not sure I want summer just yet. Spring is great! I hope you are allowed to go outdoors. I am.

On Rains TAD we have Round and round as theme. I gathered some old and some new works for TAD and PFF, Some digital, others paintings

Purple!
I don´t remember anything about this one but like the color and it is bubbly.

One of the first ones I created in PS long ago. It is my hand in there.

I am going to visit my daughter today. It is a trip north about 70 km. Will take me 1,5 h to drive. From this week on we are allowed to travel within our area. But to be safe we will stay in her garden and not go indoors. She can´t risk being infected of anything whatsoever as she underwent a back surgery 4 weeks ago and it will take several months to heal.

Coral Reef
For Rains TAD theme this week, Historical Events, I choose the creation of Coral Reefs.  Long ago  they provided habitat for soo many species and lifeforms. Important for both ocean and land worlds.  Painted on a scallop.

Abstract flower
This is a painting using tempera color on a circular canvas dia 30 cm. I had one left to use.
These are soo much fun to create. To bad they are filling up my apartment.  😞
The "flowers" are created with a balloon.

Deep sea swimmer!
Hm, think she is swimming in the coral reef in the first image.

I am born in Sagittarious  and Carnation is the flower I choose for  Rains TAD this week.

April Bonfire
Last day of April we celebrate spring in Sweden with a bonfire and students singing. This year the celebration was cancelled of course so I painted my own. Tempera on photo paper.

 Many of my walls are bearing wall and hard to put nails in. Over at Dollarstore I bought a large canvas and arranged six of my smaller canvases (20x20 cm) on it, that way I only had to hammer one hook in the wall instead of six.

Floating red moon

This is a collage and manipulation of two images. 

And, finally! In Corona times I have now created a visor that I can adapt on my glasses. You put the spectacles sidepieces in the holes with the plastic in front of the glasses. 

Works well as long as there is not strong winds blowing them around. And I don´t get steam on my glasses.
So, this is me in the photo. 😃
