Rains and PPF

We all need a hug these days, this is for you.
Photocollage of 2 images

For Rains "in like a lamb, out like a lion" challenge I choose to see two sides of the same water.
Upper and lower side of the flood lock . 2 photos collage

Gannets. .A favorite bird I happened to "pass by" in my files.

The spring has arrived even if we still has cold mornings.

My test pad for painting  also suitable for Rains this week I think as there are flowers, trees, ghosts and even a spider. The size of the pad is A4
This is a pad I designed for SCANIA heavy truck drivers when I was still working at the design department. I was allowed to bring it home with me when I was retired.

A weird world art and virus

A marsh or wetland tilted and manipulated in Photoshop.
A path I often walk when it is not too much water.

I think I start to understand how watercolor works, when to use "wet on wet" or dry painting. Don´t really like that the paper has to dry every now and then, kind of disrupts the workflow. And I have to remember to finish with Fixative.

I hope all is fit and well. I am, kind of stubborn. They say 70+ shall remain indoors being cared for, but I need my exercise so I still walk the forest to see nature and animals. And, btw, I am the least ill person in my family. So, I will probably take care of the others so, lock myself up in my apartment, politicians can forget about that. But I don´t take unnecessary risks.

Stay well, there are at least 2 good things in all this. We can still meet online, and....space images show our world is cleaning up. What politics could not do about climate change, a tiny virus does.

What about LUCK

I was lucky to find those images of the rainbow bowl When looking for Rainbow luck..
I inherited it from my grandmother and now my daughter has it in her country house.

I also found this feather that I had completely forgot about. This is a photo. In a few days a year it is possible to get a rainbow from a vase filled with water in my living room window. I placed the feather in the rainbow and photographed it.

This is also a shot I forgot about. This is a spiders net glowing in the low sunlight. The colors are only slightly enhanced.

I call this one "Coffee break" as the "stains" are coffee.
Just wanted to see what it would look like on watercolor paper A5.

 Coffee break landscape.
Continuing on the one above.
This is a test of how the watercolor in tube behaves.

This is a watercolor background that was supposed to be the Bird lake I shared earlier.
But I like it as it is so I kept it. Watercolor on A4 paper

Yes, what about LUCK, we could really use some these days. In Sweden we had the first death of CORONA yesterday. And first set of restrictions. So, many events and meetings are cancelled.
So, we are LUCKY to have the net where we can meet without infecting each other.
Except for artsy ideas of course.

Wishing you all a great week and....stay healthy!

Mostly watercolor and what you see

Running!
This is 2 images combined in Photoshop. The "valley", is our skate course. And The deer Fallow deer.

I see you! Slightly manipulated image.

The path!
Watercolor on paper A4

Some kind of landscape I guess.  Watercolor paper A4
I had bought a set of watercolor in tubes. And wanted to test them with earth colors.
The colors I used was: Lemon yellow, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, burnt umber and the last one is deep green as I thought it needed something else to stand out. For the deep green I took the color from the tube and did not ad water. I like this colorpalette and will probably do something more with these colors.

I also tested some trees I found in a book. A lesson in how to use the color from the treetrunk to create a shadow on the ground by adding a little water at the bottom of the trunk and let the color flow down words and spread out.  🙏
And as you see, I liked the tissue I used for the color palette 😇

Lookíng at my bunch of images I guess they all are suitable for Rains "What do you see" promt for this week. Even if that was not what I thought at first. 😁
