These rocks are creating art in a railway tunnel not far from me. I love to photograph them when I pass. So many colors and patterns on the stones created by running water.

Round and round

On Rains TAD we have Round and round as theme. I gathered some old and some new works for TAD and PFF, Some digital, others paintings

Purple!
I don´t remember anything about this one but like the color and it is bubbly.

Catching light series. It is a serie of 5 images with different lights.

Crystal world.
One of the first ones I created in PS long ago. It is my hand in there.

I am going to visit my daughter today. It is a trip north about 70 km. Will take me 1,5 h to drive. From this week on we are allowed to travel within our area. But to be safe we will stay in her garden and not go indoors. She can´t risk being infected of anything whatsoever as she underwent a back surgery 4 weeks ago and it will take several months to heal.

AEDM28 Blue lake disc

I created a pour yesterday. When I looked at the table while it was drying I noticed the overflow of black paint had created a handle. The image with the handle is the image I like best, as a photographer, it also have colored reflections from my window light strand. The overflow is on a thin plastic folio. I am now preparing a mixed media painting using the "handle". But it will take time for that one to dry. 😟 I hope I can share it before AEDM is over.

AEDM25 Butterfly

This is how I started. The butterfly comes from a stencil

Just wanted to share how this Tempera color glows in certain light.

Yep, I destroyed it! Wanted to see if I could turn it "dark". Guess not 😎 But I learned how to use the tape both for holding the paper and to use it for the paint to flow over the edges.

Butterfly! Guess I´m done for now. I also learned it it possible to wet the paper A LOT and still get away with it 😇

Butterfly in progress, Sorry, I let you see the same piece 4 times. It is sketch paper size A5. If you did not already guess.

A sidenot might be of interest. The board I use for the paper says "SCANIA" on the top. I was working on the SCANIA heavy trucks design department in many years. I designed this bord for making it easy for drivers to sit behind the wheel and make notes. You put the board in your knee and lean it to the wheel. Then you can write comfortly. 😊

All different

Wildlife at night!
Another piece on CARB-on A4 black paper. I used stencil for the deer. The rest is a circular foam brush.

Flower field!
This piece was a happening. It was a photo poster from the start that I scraped away the image. Then I used it as black and white art. A week ago I painted it with gold and blue Tempera color. And was lost. :( After using the foam brush on the CARB-on paper I decided to make a Flower field. I was inspired by a real one in a farm outside my town. Lots and lots of flowers, Poppy and many others. So, this is an interpretation of that colorful field.

Autumn avenue
This is an avenue outside my town leading to a Mansion. I photographed it a couple of days ago. This time I did not use photohop for the edit. I have another one called Topaz. The filter used was oil paint.

On my wall in the hall

I finally got to the point when I start to hang my art on the walls. I chose the wall between kitchen and bedroom for the circular ones. And added the rectangular one that was created with the circular one above it.

Made a quick test of some "patterns" on my shelf. CARBON A4 paper and white tempera.

BOKEH LAKE
This is digital and quite impossible to describe the process. Many images and techniques used. For short it is a blurred branch in front of a blurred lake

Mermaid Squad

Still wondering what I shall do now when exhibition is over. Don´t think I will paint much more, there are too many canvases in my apartment and no place to hang them. But I still have a few new ones that will need some paint. So, I guess I am not finished yet.

This week I went through some stuff I bought a few month ago and came across the mermaid stickers. So, I started to work with them. First I laid them out on carbon paper but decided to give them a background with their own colors. I used a foam brush I had still not used and liked the patterns it gave. Think it looks like waves so very suitable here. :)

Then I glued the stickers on the canvas and learned I should have wet them first. Now they lived a life of their own on the canvas :) But I managed to get them mostly flattened.

Hope everyone is fine as fall has arrived up north and spring "down under", both colorful seasons.

Bubble wrap fun and a cat

The following was using a bubble wrap to create the patterns

Before I used the bubble wrap I pressed a canvas on the tile creating a mirror image of it.

finally I used the color on the bubble wrap to "paint" a CARBON paper and an acrylic one. You can see many of the colors get lost on the CARBON paper. And changed the feeling of it.

Lastly I had some digital fun with a cat I photographed, This time I used Topaz to do it. I find it relaxing after spending many hours at the library.
