This is an old book that I inherited from my mother Marie. There are three stories in the book and Prince Hat is one of them. She must have read them for us many times. The book is very worn. My younger brother probably got his hands on it as there are a few pages that are torn.
This book was printed in 1949 but the the stories are from the 19th century,

I like how you used book photos for your page Monica. And I checked out the story too. It is interesting how many fairytales deal with kings and queens and princesses. And living happily ever after.
