Happy New Creative Year

Eggstra!
An idea I had for a while. Half an eggshell placed on a CD and poured upon. Was a bit tricky but it worked.

Forest
A winter birch forest edited in Photoshop

Space Fantasy
Poured on an LP I never listened to. Tried to use the knife to create patterns as well. And my logo added as decoration in Photoshop

Space Fantasy with added star or snow patterns.
Been thinking of creating snow for a while or star patterns. But did not know how to do it. I found this bottle brush in my kitchen. It made the trick. It sprayed quite a bit while I draw it out of the bottleneck. Maybe a little too much :)

Merry Christmas to all my artsy friends

Northern Light
This is a pour. My idea was to create a Northern Light. ut I guess something happened to that :) I was not all that happy with it for a start. But it grew. Still I felt it needed something more.

Northern light faitytale
I went to the Picsart page where you can use pics. I rarely use others images but this fairy seemed to fit the canvas colors. With photoshop I fit her into the painting and added some lighteffects. My first idea was a troll, so I might get more of this later on.

The black plate
Yes, this plate is black. I painted it with tempera. When it was still not all dried I noticed patterns from the lamp. Moving and tilting the black plate I came up with this photo. It is not otherwise edited.

The Deer
This is a composite of two images. The frame comes from a mirror on one of my travels. The deer is from outside my town. Not distorted in any way.

The wave
This comes from a sandy part of the ground in Geysir area in Iceland. Edited in Photoshop

A little of this a little of that

Was playing around in photoshop with an image of a waterfall. Turned out like this.

This is an image of a snowy fern I did not come to grip with. Until I added an image of the canvas I just started to prepare for a pour. The pattern in blue comes from that canvas.

Did some more practising with the fanbrush. A birch!

And yesterday night I did the pour. Using tempera color.

I think I could have had some more cells on the pour but I think the burner I have for that purpose is scary. I don´t dare use it indoors. And it was too cold on my balcony yesterday. I used three colors and black. Yellow, green and pink. Canvas size 20x20cm

Fire and water

I have a canvas that is damaged. Thought I use it for practising different brushes. The work above is only a part of that canvas.
This week I tested to use the fanbrush. Seem to me I have a lot of more practising to do. The major problem seem to be the thickness of the color and the preparation of the canvas. I can´t get it to "flow" the way I see them doing in videos. As a fantasy I kind of like it anyway.
