Halloween and maple seed

Halloween party

Halloween is not really my favorite. The witch disturb me. When the Halloween came to Sweden I was wondering why our Easter witch appears in November. The same story about tricks and treat with kids going around. The only difference is our witch has a cat and is travelling to "The blue hill" to dance. 

This is watercolor background on watercolor paper A4 and stickers.

This is a photo from our DOLLARSTORE and manipulated in Photoshop and Topaz.

It will probably take a while to figure out what is hanging there.

Maple seeds (these are too small for "noses")

This is very small seeds, hardly larger then my fingernails. The tree is not larger then me and my arms in the air. Watercolor background on A5 sketch paper.

A little of this and that

This is for TAD this week. the theme this week is "Urban Legends". In my town there is an old story about the Troll at Gatstuberg! The only "mountain" we have. I could not find the actual story but it was fun to see that the Djulö Mansion made an ice cream of it. 

Maple

Obviously I was not done with the leaves and fall! On the plate I arranged a set of maple seeds. We call them "noses" as you can open them and fasten them on your nose. 

I also did a balloon pressure with tempera color on a maple leaf. It took a long time for it to dry and it wanted to fold itself. When dry I glued it to a CARBon black paper. A4

As the balloon was full of colors from the leaf above I made another pressure on a sketch paper A5

Several years ago I glued eyelashes to eggshells. 

This day the sun reflected rainbow colors through a vase with water to my shelf below.

I positioned the eggs to the colors. 

The blue ribbon

I noticed the light coming through the ribbon.

Chilly today and raining. I think that finally our groundwater level will be restored 😄

And, on Saturday night we switch to Normal time again. 

Hopefully for the last time. If EU dare take the decision.

Blogger is messing up again!
Today I was confused when I was supposed to create this post. Blogger took me to my other blogg where I was not supposed to post. Finally I found that I now have to CHOSE what blog I want to create a post in! 

Never happened before. It used to take the blog I was working on. Just wanted to say it happened to if anyone else. It seems like GOOGLE /Blogger don´t want to work with several blogs anymore. They want to make it ONE blog. It is the same with the image files. You have to be careful to not get everything in one huge pile!

Spirit and leafs

The waterspirit 

For Rains TAD this week about Supernatural. Photo edit in PS. The spirit is my granddaughter. The waterfall is Skogafoss in Iceland.

Walking in nature looking for leaves I realized not all autumn leafs are yellow, orange and red. 

Also I noticed the backside is sometimes very beautiful.

I tried my best on a Scarecrow for Rains this week.  It seems to me that the scarecrow is not happy with the result. Wax crayons on note paper.

Well, I can´t draw and are not used to crayons either.

This week has been more of an annoyance then fun so not much to share today. 

It is windy and chilly today and leaves are falling fast. Soon trees are bare again.

The Bauer trolls cave

This is for Rains theme this week. The background is a photo from a place in my town. It is from the entry of an underground safety place in case of war. The government can be safe in there in case of war. 

The Troll with the rain deer´s was painted by Swedish artist John Bauer. (1882-1918) He and his family drowned when they went with a Steamer a stormy day on lake Vättern. A sad story!

This is an old painting I did really not like. I throw some black on it and then I liked it better.

Fern

While the black paint was still wet on the board above I placed a leaf of  fern on it and ended up with a completely different thing. The fern is now glued on the painting.

I was at Dollarstore and found the wolf sticker for car windows. Coming home I happened to put it on one of my fluid balloon works. Thought it looked cool so I took a shot.

Fall

On Dollarstore I also found some coasters to be used for beer it said. I thought it could be used as stencils. 

For the first two I placed the coasters on photo paper and poured color on them then just let them dry. It was fun to see how the color kind of shrank and revealed the coasters as it dried. They are now stuck to the paper. 

For the last one "Fall" I painted the fan-like structure with watercolor on sketch paper A5. Then I painted a coaster on the back, it was 4 of them, with black tempera color. And made the grey print in the corner. And then a stencil, pen and watercolor for the rest.  

And....that was all for today folks!
