Happy New Year

Selfie art Journal, "Using a photo"
Giggling, this is, kind of weird. For the moment it is my "artworkdesk". There are different pieces of nature, paintings, background horses. A matchbox, a CD with a photo of me and my reflected fingers  pretends to hold it.

I think that covers it. 😎😇

This is my new calendar.

There are no photos or images on the sheets so you have to create them yourself.
And, when I bought it I did not see there were two of them.
So, now I will have a lot to create for the entire year of 2023.

You might be tired of them after a few months.
Hm, almost forgot, for January I used dry lichen to glue on and a photo of the firework on New Years Eve.
Cladonia rangiferina, also known as reindeer cup lichen

And Finally, My crying angel, not crying anymore.
She wishes you a beautiful and creative New Year 2023

  2. I like how you created your page Monica. The idea of the bits and pieces on your art desk is clever. What a fun way to start the new year. Your other pieces are interesting to view too. I wonder why your angel is crying. Gott Nytt Ar. Sorry, I'm not sure how to add the ring over the a in ar. Thanks for joining us at AJJ for Mia's challenge. hugs-Erika

    1. I will explain a little about the Angel later on. About the letter Å. you need a Swedish keybord to do that. We have three more letters in the Swedish alphabet, Åå Ää and Öö

  6. How clever using your reflected fingers to hold your picture ... a great art desk. I am sure it will be inspiring as you make your monthly art for your calendar. I love the lichen ... when I see it on a tree it looks so artsy and on your calendar page it has the same effect. It has been a fun year, Monica and I look forward to more fun in 2023 ... we have been doing this together for awhile :) Wishing you a wonderfully warm and creative New Year, my friend ...
