Hi guys. Today I start with Rains TAD promt. Westerns!
You can all see this is Elvis! But what I love about this is his character in the Movie.
It is Pacer Burton in the movie Flaming star!
I was 15 at this time and madly in love with Pacer.
💖
Snowy world!
This A4 painting on CARBon A4 paper was inspired by some snowdrift I saw on a walk. Stencil and free hand painting!
Sunset!
This painting was inspred by the gorgeous sunset light two weeks ago.
acrylics on A4 watercolorpaper
Panorama landscape!
This was almost too easy! I played a bit with the colors and then changed the proportions. I made the photo lower and longer. And, voila! It looks painted.
😎
If you want to see the video I took of the sunset light I have it in my other blog, HERE

I hope every one is fine and have a great time!
What I dislike the most when it comes to Corona is that they constantly, all day long, tells me I am very old and fragile! Pisses me off! I am 75 still going strong!
😠
Sorry about that!
Sorry about that!

I'm sure you're a strong girl, baby! I appreciate your attitude!
ReplyDeleteYour "Snowy world" is very beautiful!
Keep drawing! Hugs!
Monica,
ReplyDeleteI remember Elvis in beach setting films. I don't recall seeing him in any westerns. I think every young girl had a huge crush on the King. Your sunset painting is beautiful. Keep warm, be safe, and stay well, my friend!
Drop by when you can to check out today's art at Curious as a Cathy! ;)
You are like a young girl full of energy and a wonderful independent and very personable woman. You are a great creative artist, I love your way of painting, experimenting and digital, photos.
ReplyDeleteToday you painted Elvis, I like him singing and some films and other works are also done so beautifully. Put it nicely!
Take care of yourself and stay healthy!

ReplyDeletemuch love...
I love all your experiments, especially the long landscape.
ReplyDeleteNice work. Flaming Star is one of his better movies, but boy he could throw a note.
ReplyDelete...I don't think of Elvis as a western star!

Hi, lovely artwork, Elvis is my favourite
ReplyDeleteAhhh, Good Old Elvis ... loved his music and I had forgotten about his movies. Good one, Monica :) Love your painting(s) too ... beautiful sky and trees and clever faking it :) You are right though ... you surely are still going strong :) The pandemic is wearing on all of us young and old (so you know, I am older than you and still going strong too so you have a ways to go to catch up with me :0 Stay safe my friend ...
ReplyDeleteAndrea @ From The Sol
So many different types of pieces. The sunset is lvoely!
ReplyDeleteHi Monica! Oh Elvis...swooooon.... :) He was so handsome. I haven't seen Flaming Star, I just looked it up and I'll try to find it, it sounds reall good! I love your Snowy World, and Sunset is so pretty! I love how you painted the trees. You are a spring chicken...I hate when people assume that we are so fragile as we get older. I've gotten comments about my age (52) and I feel like I'm in my 20's!!
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful paintings, especially the Panaroma landscape and the snowy world looks very interesting. Take care.
