Still life in the Church ruin
I guess you recognize my angel by now. I also added the grey stonewall behind her. The rest items is in the church. Different filter added to enhance the surfaces.
My Costa Rica´n hat and my fan collection.
Grass and leaves
Canvas 30x40cm. This one I had glued the leaves but the grass is not glued yet.
This is the final one with the grass glued on. It became much darker. And a bit dull. But it is still a 3D painting as the thin "branches" did not fasten to the canvas. So, they are sticking out of the painting.
I love dry grass so this is something I wanted to try for a long time. I had to paint a little green on the two leaves as the color disappeared in the glue

Monica,
ReplyDeleteI love pretty fans! When I was a kid, the women in church would use fans to keep themselves cool. We didn't have air conditioning. I didn't even know what air conditioning was when I was little. Those old churches would get pretty warm in the summer. Sometimes I'd fall asleep with my head in my grandma's lap and she'd gently wave her fan across my face to cool me off. WOW, I had forgotten about that until now. :) Nice job with this week's prompt, my dear. Have a doodletastic day! ;)
The angel in the church is very thought provoking ~ Wonderful pieces ~ Enjoy the rest of your week

ReplyDeleteI have many hobbies. I love to travel and read. But my favorite hobby is cooking. Let me tell you why! First, I'll tell you a little bit about why I started cooking. Secondly, I'll give you some information about what I like to cook. Third, I will say how I use the Food for cooking.
When I started cooking, I was 10 years old. My mom wants me to be a chef. She has always believed that girls have to make different types of food, because one day they will get married. In my country, it is normal for girls not to cook. I feel lucky because I can cook many dishes. Now that I cook some of the dishes my children and husband love, I become happy and proud of my mother and myself. food near me Please share if you love me.
