Face

Face in a piece of Birch bark.
For Rains theme Face in object, this week. This is my favorite and I even have had it on one of my exhibitions. I still have it! Photographed on my balcony floor.

An upside down face and reflection on one of my saucepans.

Happy face
Just for the fun of it. Strangely this face disappeared rather quickly.
😏

The shape in the blue forest.
This was supposed to be a beautiful blue birch forest. I had watched a tutorial on Youtube.
It did not work as I expected. Probably as I used glossy photo paper A4 to paint on with Tempera color. The color did not work as fluid as I had expected it to do so it, kind of, got stuck instead of moving. And the yarn with white color that should create the tree trunks was not heavy enough to lay down on the paper. It buckles and became uneven. So, to save the day, I photographed the "blue forest", took it to Photoshop and added the pink shape, slightly manipulated too.

I still have the Blue forest without the pink shape. Any suggestions of what to paint on it?

Well, today I hope, at least, you get a bit amused.  😂

  3. I'm in awe of your faces, Monica. I had to laugh at the food on the plate. I can see why it didn't last long. It looks YUMMY!!!

  4. Charming faces. As for the blue forest, I see tiny figures playing about. Not quite sure it needed anything else.

    Have a lovely day.

  6. I love your birch bark face ... it is really clear and yet still a piece of birch bark. And, of course, an up side down face on your pan ... that pan will never look the same to you now that you have noticed the face. And I love your delicious face ... wish I could have been there to help it disappear LOL. But your blue birch forest ... what a hoot and I actually see faces in it, though very muted. What to add, I don't know. Maybe put it away somewhere and then take it out and see what pops into your mind. You succeeded in amusing me, Monica ... I am still smiling :)

  9. Hi Monica! :) Your face reflection...wow, what a great catch!! And I love your birch bark face too, I love how you mounted it! Hmmm...I wonder why your snack face disappeared so quickly huh lol? ;) I know you won't like my suggestion, but I'd put a few ghosts into your blue forest! :)
