I see you! Slightly manipulated image.
I also tested some trees I found in a book. A lesson in how to use the color from the treetrunk to create a shadow on the ground by adding a little water at the bottom of the trunk and let the color flow down words and spread out. 🙏
And as you see, I liked the tissue I used for the color palette 😇
Lookíng at my bunch of images I guess they all are suitable for Rains "What do you see" promt for this week. Even if that was not what I thought at first. 😁
The path!
Watercolor on paper A4
Some kind of landscape I guess. Watercolor paper A4
I had bought a set of watercolor in tubes. And wanted to test them with earth colors.
The colors I used was: Lemon yellow, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, burnt umber and the last one is deep green as I thought it needed something else to stand out. For the deep green I took the color from the tube and did not ad water. I like this colorpalette and will probably do something more with these colors.

ReplyDeleteMonica,
ReplyDeleteCool effect what appears like stacking two photos in Photoshop! Your watercolor designs are lovely. I like the earthy tones in the first which makes me feel like I'm outdoors. :)
Lovely creations, like the path.

Hi Monica :) I LOVE your "I See You" tree! I do see lots of faces in trees all of the time, it's so much fun! And your watercolours are looking really nice, that palette you used is so warm. I love the two tree studies you did too!
