Rough and red

Fly agaric!

Rain wanted it Rough today and actually pointed out one painted on sandpaper. As I have some I took a piece out adn started tp paint. As it is mushroom times I thought one would be easy to paint.

Also for a TAG and MM

The red ribbon!

One day I soptted the red ribbon beside my sewing machine. And the brain started to work. I placed it on the CARBon black paper I have and then fetched a red pipe cleaner from a box.

The red ribbon, next step!

Further developed. As I have a large black sheet of paper I placed it there and added a piece of birch bark, leaves and a pin that is a souvenier from Costa Rica. The pieces are not glued, just layed out and photographed. Not sure if it can go as Still life art?

I have finally sewed on dads juniper pieces on my mothers landscape. It is now on my wall.

Work in progress! Waiting for ideas of how to progress. I did place Heavy gel medium on A4 paper. And added some small pieces on it. It is now dry and ready for whatever comes next.

It is raining outside and I have some cleaning to do. A good day for indoor work.

Reflection, tag and nature

The frog prince!

I had painted a background. For Rains promt "Reflections" I added an old bookmark to it.

I also made it a Tag.

More Tags, one for Tag Tuesday promt blue and orange.

I created a few small things, with the new colors.

A tag, a boat with tiny things in it and a piece of rock from Yellowstone. When I visited the park 30 years ago they did still sell pieces of the rock. Last time I visited they had come to their senses. They can´t sell the Canyon to the tourists. Piece by piece the canyon would dissappear.

I continued the piece with some grass and gravel. Painted on a photo paper 10x16 cm

And last, but not least life in the seaweed.

Life in a alien ocean!

This was a surprise as I painted the blue as a curtain. But when it dried and I looked at it "upsiddown" it looked like seaweed. Blue instead of green, so what? I added some glittering sticky fish.

A little of this...and that

At the beach

Raind TAD wants Weather today, so I give her waves.

Created on wooden plate 13x20cm. Tempera color, shell and decor sand.

White Lily

I painted my first "real flower" this week. Tempera on CARBon A4 paper.

Took me a while to figure out how to do it. Not perfect but I am happy with it.

The name of this is obvious STOP!

My right handprint in three colors. I won´t tell what triggered it. It is up to you what you think.

These took me some time and thinking so I actually thought I had created more then three pieces.

Ditch and new color palette

Ditch!

Rains TAD wanted a ditch or hole today. I created a ditch but it might be a hole too under the bridge.

This is a wooden plate, 20x13 cm, for desserts I think. The paint is tempera, the bridge pieces of grit, and I added my ring, the eagle, for the photo.

For Mosaic Monday!

Below: I bought some new colors. I like the Burnt Umber but it has a habit of dissappearing too quickly from the tube. One of the bottles below is close to that color. The other solors is quite shiny in the right light.

Abstract!

A3 with the same colors. The pattern on the colors comes from plastic film I covered it with and scratched it with my nails. When the colors dried I finished with thin orange color covering the center. More or less like watercolor. Water colorpaper A3

Swirled!

Lastly I painted the one above with the same colors and some stickers. Watercolor paper A4. I pretend it is something flying around in the wind.

I hope everyone is fine. Soon I don´t dare watch the news. Too much bad things are happening around the world.

But one nice thing. I will go and visit my daughter and grandchildren tomorrow. We are going on a "roadtrip" to look for trees for their gardens.
