One of our Mansions have a gorgeous flower field right now. Colors enhanced otherwise unchanged.
It is not yet finished. If it turns out as I want it I will include it to the Exhibition.
It is a canvas 40x30 cm. The orange stuff is a tangle of thin metal wire I found overrun by cars in the street. I liked the look of it. I glued 2 golden earth maps on the canvas. My concern now is how to fasten the tangle. I have got golden threads from a friend so I think I will sew the tangle to the canvas. I just have to make a test before I do. I don´t want to spoil it :) I also think of adding "Sprayed white stars" But not sure about it. What do you think??

What a super mixed media piece in your first display there is certainly lots amongst it to show your variety of artworks. How striking does that poppy look with the blue within the background as if poppies could be anymore of a delight to see, I bet the fields look blissful. Wishing you a very happy PPF.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces! The color on the poppies is just gorgeous! I like the final piece with no stars as well, but I think the white stars would also give it additional contrast and pop. Tough decision! It will look incredible no matter how it ends up. :)
