This is a self portrait I drew when I was 14 years old. I can still remember sitting in front of a mirror to create it. Was not easy to do. Finding the right angle every time I looked into the mirror.
I was probably not very pleased with it as I can read a note in the upper corner.
It sais: Refinement by Marie.
Marie was my mother. So she adjusted it a bit. 💖
HELP!
Acrylics on paper 36x24cm
Last day of having access to the the storage room in the Art Gallery I created this one. When fixing the image in Photoshop I noticed the siluette. If noone else, at least Andrea will see it.
😇😁

IN the blue painting, are you talking about the face on the lower right- exiting the page, apparently screaming? Once my eye found it, it is always what I see now.
ReplyDeleteWow, very well done.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fantastic self portrait. It is very different from your modern style, and I am glad you shared it Monica. Happy weekend. Hope it is cool where you are. hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteYour self portrait at age 14 foretells you talent and your future role in the art world. And, LOL, yes, I see the silhouette and I also see an angry man's face and a frog ... do you?
