Butterfly door to sunset

You want to sail to the sunset but there are no door

I painted this with acrylics on a TILE 15x15cm a few years ago

Butterflies notice it and creats a door for you

Diecut butterfiles on the tile and digital writing

You catch your sailingboat and takes off

One of the first pieces I painted on CARBon paper, A4

Finally Sailing to the sunset

Here comes the sun!

Faces or what

This is a self portrait I drew when I was 14 years old. I can still remember sitting in front of a mirror to create it. Was not easy to do. Finding the right angle every time I looked into the mirror.

I was probably not very pleased with it as I can read a note in the upper corner.

It sais: Refinement by Marie.

Marie was my mother. So she adjusted it a bit. 💖

HELP!

Last day of having access to the the storage room in the Art Gallery I created this one. When fixing the image in Photoshop I noticed the siluette. If noone else, at least Andrea will see it.

Step out....

First image is one of my photos that I worked on digitally!

Last one is a landscape painted with ink. (worked at the arthall´s open shop this week)

Middle image is a combination of the two.

It is HOT over here today, will be tomorrow too :(

In many parts of Europe there are fires burning. So I hope tomorrow is the last day of heat where I live. There are already warnings of fire alert.

The blue tray

What I used today, veneer tray, paint, heavy gel and the multiple leaves.

There is a jar with Heavy gel medium that I used on the dry leaves to prevent them from breaking into pieces. Because they are leaves and not particulary flat.

I painted the tray and added the leaves.

The leaves comes from the Outdoors art camp I was on last week.

It is 13x20cm in size

Looking through my files I found this forgotten one.

I remember well the cat in question. It was a beauty. But I don´t remember creating this image.

But obviously it is the same cat and the small one heavily altered and now pretend to be a kitten. And angry.

First try at ink

Had some fun, again!

It is kind of, strange, earlier there was NEVER any activity for us retired people! Ever. Babies was invited to painting sessions at the exhibitions. They "painted" with natural colors. Like blueberry and other eatable colors. But never my generation.

Honestly it pissed me off. So I let them know what I thought. As often as I could. This spring has totally changed.

First there was the really fun one where we created our art and printed it. That was 4 times with "Open workshop" for everybody. Next out was last week when everyone was invited to create art outdoors. That´s when I tried spray-paint. That was fun. Too bad I can´t do it at home.

Finally this week and two more weeks we are invited to the Arthalls storageroom. There are lots of fun things to try. Mostly this has been used for school-classes and such. But now everyone are welcomed to have fun. What I show you below is what I created with ink yesterday. I had noticed the rolls of tiny nets so I took some and used to create texture with the ink.

Sadly I catched a cold and are now coughing and have a fever. Not that high as I manage to create this post. I will be able to have more fun next week. Hopefully!
