Printing at the Library part 1

There are a different exhibition on our Library. It goes on for six weeks and changes constantly. And lots of different activities going on in the room. Everything from reading books to music and even Qigong. Everyone can attend and it is freee. I have never seen that much people in the Art gallery or the Library before. So much fun going on. 

I have attended twice on the Open workshops and there will be one more before it closes. 

Motion

My first print

The artist, Tova, in charge for the event, coloring my Deer before printing it

We can take the "original" home when it has dried, but the printed cloth will be sewn together to large cloth pieces and displayed in the end of the exhibition. 

Path into the woods. 

Painted on paper A4. Tested some new ways of doing things. I made a mistake on the path but in the end I, kind of, like it. The paper was wavy due to the wet color but it makes it more alive, so I don´t mind.

These boots are made for walking.

This was one of the greatest hits when I was a teenager. Still remember it clearly.

These boots however is my daughters. Shot this week as she and I was on a SPA and enjoyed ourselves.

I have posted this painting before. It is a combined work of my mother, father and me. 

Mom painted it, dad created the pieces of Juniper and I sew the Juniper on the painting to form a gate. 

Today I added my parents weddingphoto. 

For Rains theme Fond Memory

This is me visiting a SPA yesterday with my daughter. I was massaged with hot stones. 

That will be a wonderful memory for the future.

Green and blue for ourtags this week. This little maiden seems to suit the promt.

I had some fun painting over an old board this week. 

In the Library they have an unusual exhibition. Among other things they have "Open workshop" a few times during the period. 

This day they had one young woman that was printing fabric. And helped visitors to do that. This guy works on the Arthall and he holds MY first print. Wrong that was the second one. I made three.

These are the originals I created. The last one is the printed fabric the guy above are holding. 

Everything is wet and had to dry. The color was oil so that takes time. I was allowed to get the hard cardboards when they were dry. But not the fabric. They keep all fabrics and in the end they will sew them together to one large cloth.

Flaming star Journal. Starring Elvis as Pacer

Digital art using Movie photo pf Elvis, my images from my trip to Yellowstone and shapes from PS.

I hope it quaifies as a Journal :) 

When I was a teen I had a crush on Pacer. Not Elvis but the caracter he played. A movie that showed he was a brilliant actor. 

I found clips and even a moviestrip of the film on the net. The film is a very bad quality. 

In this movie he only sang the Lead music, Flaming star.  and a song when they danced in the old house. This movie is all about the problems between "americans" and "natives". Watching parts of it now is terrrible. Pacer sits right between the two not knowing how to act as everyone hate everyone. And he loves them all. 

I found two versions of Flaming star and was not able to choose one of them.

Note, Erika pointed out I did not really create a Journal. OOPS! She is right. Guess I am not used to what a Journal is yet. I´ll see if I can create one. If not, I hope I am excused for now!

This is a page from my grandmothers album. She lived on  farm. Photos are more then 100 years old. The cottage on the right, top image, is taken in 1913 and shows my grandmothers father Victor
