In sept 2017 I visited Teton Range and Yellowstone NP. I am still in contact with our guide, Helen. 

We meet on IG and blogs. She posted a photo from her last trip to the Norris Basin. I decided to try to paint it. The above is the result.  From the start it was really just a try to find the right blue colors to the hot water. So, this is just a simple A4 paper. Maybe later on I´ll try this or one of mine, on watercolorpaper. This photo was squared so not A4 size. 

I found a new friend that has an oldfashioned countryside shop. 

I took some photos and ideas as well and played around in PS.

The lantern in the center I bought it. It is now on my balcony. It looks like a birdnest.

I guess this might not perfectly meet Rains promt Villains this week. As it is really an Archangel doing the kill. But, might be close enough. In my eyes - Evil is evil no matter the situation.

This figurine is a gift from my daughter and granddaughter. They know I love angelwings like the one in my header. That angel too is a gift from them. If they had looked closely to the bottom of this piece they might not have bought it. I have a problem with accepting bad things, so, if I don´t comment too much on your posts this week I hope you forgive me. But I will visit!

Halloween and fall

My witch has two jobs. One on Good friday at Easter when she rides her broomstick and cat to Blåkulla to dance in the moonlight. 

Second jobb is as witch for Halloween in October. That time she is a bit nasty I think. 

This time she carries a TAG for Tag Tuesday

She also represents TADs promt Broomstick. 

I had this witch for maybe 45 years and she still rides her broomstick.

This is the scallop I created for my daughters first wedding in Honolulu where I could not attend.

A digital version of the new wedding.

Two weeks ago, they renewed their vows with a Swedish wedding. It is now valid. It seems that the wedding in Honolulu is not legal in Sweden. But now they are legally married in both countries.

Unfortunately I could not attend this time either because my sister is still ill and I did not want to risk giving them any illness. But I've seen the video.

Halloween!

Normally I don´t celebrate Halloween. To me it is a reminder of our Easter witch (Påskkärring). Halloween and Easter witch is probably the same tradition from the start. We do it in Easter. Others do it in oct-nov.  And Swedish kids celebreate both. 💀

Alien s play around

Alien worlds! 

My alien world is mostly a waterworld. For TAD his week.

As my sister is still sick I have spet this week visiting doctors, hospitals and pharmacy. And shopping for her. But I still wanted to have some fun with art. When we buy food these days they are often placed in this kind of black Food tray´s. I cleaned one just to have some fun with it. As I already had the blue color on my "workstation" I took that and a little of green and yellow. You see it below.

Last of fall! Maple Seeds, Wings or Noses a´la Pinocchio. 

We have a saying that goes aprox: Dear child has many names. 

As a child we used to open the seed side and then put it on our noses.

I was out picking some seeds from Maple trees yesterday. There are two kind of Maple trees. One with a dark reddish tint, as the leaf in the corner shows. Digitally altered.
