Wisdom and watercolor

Ballerina, watercolor on A5 sketch paper using stencils

I found a tiny doll in a second hand shop. I placed her in my watercolor landscape an took a shot.

Ducks! Watercolor on A5 sketch paper.

Wisdom
watercolor on A3 sketch paper

Yin and Yang is a concept of dualism. Most people think the symbol should be and mean "perfect balance" but I don´t think the Universe is perfect so, my symbol is not perfect.
That is wisdom to me.

  2. Monica,

Nothing about this world, universe is perfect. Above all people! Good throw in for today's theme. I like your ballerina dancer silhouette! :)

  4. Our Universe is ever so imperfect but the goal would be to find perfection as is illustrated in Yin and Yang. I am afraid it will never happen ... in fact, I think we are going in the opposite direction, sadly. Love your art and how cute with the little doll in your landscape. Your mind takes you to so many awesome places :)

  8. Hi Monica :)) Oh how very smart of you NOT to make your Yin and Yang perfect. I really agree with that! Clever! Your watercolours are beautiful, I love the ducks! And what a fun idea to photograph your doll on your painting!!! Thanks so much for joining in this week!! :)
